Kenneth "Kenny" Earl Narron Sr., son of James Earl "Jimmy" Narron (1942-2018) and Pat Narron, was born in 1960 in Nash County, North Carolina. He grew up in a close-knit family with one brother, Scott Narron, and spent his early years in North Carolina before the family settled in the Chester-Hopewell area of Virginia.
Kenny's parents married young — November 28, 1959, in Johnston County, NC — and built a family life rooted in hard work, loyalty, and strong ties to extended relatives. His father, James Earl, worked in Virginia and became a well-known figure in the Chester community. James Earl passed away on August 27, 2018, in Chester, Virginia, and is buried at Sunset Memorial Park and Mausoleum in Chesterfield County. His passing was a significant moment for Kenny Sr. and the entire Narron family.

On January 20, 1979, Kenny married Tammy Lynn Ellis in Hopewell, Virginia. Together they had two sons.

Later that same year, on 15 September 1995, Kenny married Nancy Ann Johnson (1956-2019). Nancy brought two children of her own — Jackie and Dwayne — and together they formed a blended family that remained close for more than two decades.
Kenny and Nancy lived in Hopewell, where they shared a long marriage until Nancy's passing on April 21, 2019.
Family Connections & Community Roots
Kenny Sr. was part of a large extended family that remained centered in the Chester-Hopewell-Henrico area. His brother Scott Narron married Janie Diane Clark in 1994 at Woodland Baptist Church, and the families often gathered for holidays and celebrations — including the Christmas portrait where Kenny Sr. stands at the far right of the back row beside Nancy.
